Freshpairofdmvs.com is seeking College Students looking to expand their knowledge base and experience in the following positions:
- Writers/Editors w/ a concentration in Music Editorials
- Responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Providing researched information on Music Artist for editorials, Interviews, Features
- Produce new’s briefings, debriefings for publication
- participate and promote on our social media outlets : twitter, face book, forums, myspace , etc.
- The candidate will preferably have journalism-related studies. Excellent written communication skills and an interest in a variety music genres (HIP-HOP HEADS NEED APPLY!) are a must. Knowledge of social media and some HTML is a plus.
- We work in a virtual office, so the candidate must be comfortable working independently with guidance.
- Cinematography
- Responsibilities are, but are not limited to: Supporting the development/production of short films for publication.
- Work with the writers to produce short films, documentary’s, music highlight reels
- assist in day to day production activities
- The candidate should preferably be in pursuit of a degree in film, or any other form of entertainment business. The Candidate should also have knowledge in video editing software. Position requires the participation of the candidate on our social media outlets such as Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Social Forums, among other outlets.
- We work in a virtual office, so the candidate must be comfortable working independently with guidance.
NOTE: All positions require candidate to dedicate at the minimum of 6-8 hours on Saturday and Sundays and 3-4 hours on Monday thru Friday. All positions also call for candidates to be flexible and reliable . All Candidates should be enthusiastic and have interest in the DMV ( DC, MD, VA) music industry, and culture.
